Christopher T. "Chris" Bacon

On Sunday June 5, 2022, Christopher T. Bacon passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Plattsburgh NY at the age of 39. Chris was born December 19, 1982 in Plattsburgh NY and was later adopted into a large family by Lynn and Stephen Bacon.
Chris leaves behind his parents, Lynn and Steve Bacon, sisters, Beth Goodman and husband Tom Goodman, Jillian Bacon, brothers, Scott and his wife Kathleen, John, Andrew, Robert, Jeran and Sean.
Chris graduated from Au Sable Valley High School and attended Clinton Community College. He worked a variety of jobs in the Plattsburgh area to include Emergency Preparedness coordinator at North Country Center for Independence. He loved all sports but especially his favorite Dallas Cowboys.
Chris was born with an imperfect body but a beautiful soul. He had a winning smile and positive attitude that left anyone he met feeling better about them-selves. His co-workers and caregivers all loved him. He laughed at his disabilities to include making a Tic Toc video letting others know that they too should not let it limit their imagination. It is hard to know but only human to wonder how far Chris could have gone.
He is released from his earthly limitations now, free to do all the things he always wanted to do.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM June 23, 2022 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. Burial will be at a date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Swanton, VT.
