Christine Provost

Christine Provost, 86, of Willsboro passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Elizabethtown Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Christine was born in Bennington, Vermont on March 24, 1931, the daughter of Cherry Walker and Fred Wright. Christine married the love of her life Harmon Provost and immediately started their family.
Christine is survived by her nine children, Harmon Provost Jr (Lori), Jean Gay (Otis), Margaret Doyle (Gary), James Provost (Kristi), Bob Provost (Becky), June Bishop, Mary Green (Arnold), Rick Provost (Alta) and Barry Provost (Penny). She is also survived by 33 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, one Great-Great Grandchild and two Sisters, Helen and Sylvia.
She is predeceased by her parents and husband, two brother’s Charlie Martin and Jim Wright, Son-in-law Kenneth Bishop, and four grandchildren Lynn Marie Bishop, Andrew Jacques, Shannon Cashman, and Corey Jaquish.
Christine was a member of the Willsboro-Reber Fire Department Auxiliary and a RSVP volunteer at the Willsboro-Essex Nutrition Site. In her free time, she enjoyed building her plastic canvas masterpieces.
Christine loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. All of her grandchildren knew that if mom and dad said no, then you just had to call Grandma - Grandma never said no! You could not have asked for a better woman to have in your life.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Heald Funeral Home, 7521 Court Street, Elizabethtown. A funeral service will follow at 2:00PM with Rev. Rick Feeney officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Memorial Cemetery in Willsboro.
