Charlotte Patnode, 89, of Ganong Drive in Saranac, passed away April 19, 2014 at her home. She was born in Altona on August 4, 1924, daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Staley) Morrow.
Charlotte enjoyed keeping active and interacting with people by working for the Senior Lunch, Saranac School Distric and the Saranac Hollow Jammers.
She is survived by two daughters; Iola (LJ) Mesler of Colon, MI., Frances Baker of Ausable Forks, her siblings; Earl (Betty) Morrow, Jack Morrow, Millard (Deb) Morrow and Teen Sequin, Step children: Ronnie (Arlene) Patnode, John (Sue) Patnode, Gary (Barb) Patnode, Dick (Sharon) Patnode, Lorraine Kuhersa, Joan Brooks, Myron Carter and Robert Carter. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Floyd Patnode, four children, Shirley Keeler, Nancy Chilton, Dawn Staley, and Larry Woodward, two borthers, Charles and William Morrow, sisters, Edith Baker, and Frances Morrow,.
A graveside service will be held Thursday May 8, 2014 at 11:30 AM in the Peasleeville Cemetery.
