Charles Allan Sperbeck, Sr., 80, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Killeen, Texas. Born on April 3, 1944, in Utica, NY to Clarence M. Sperbeck and Rosemary G. Kieffer. Charles was a man of deep faith who lived his life guided by the principles of Christ. His devotion to his beliefs shaped his character and inspired those around him.
As prolific and successful entrepreneur, Charles was the owner of Sperbeck Dental Laboratories for 35 years. Throughout his life, Charles demonstrated unwavering dedication to his family and community. He was intelligent, hardworking, and strong-willed, always striving to share kindness and wisdom with those he encountered. His influence extended far beyond his immediate family, leaving a lasting impact on everyone that he served.
He is survived by his children: Gretchen Wilkening, Charles Sperbeck, Jr., Robert Sperbeck, Francis Mueller, and Ellen Lam. Sisters: Shirley Abiusi and Christy Swenszkowski. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Sperbeck; his daughter Trudith Sperbeck; granddaughters Eilise Wilkening and Rose Sperbeck; Sister Rosemary Gene Sperbeck; brothers Clarence G. Sperbeck, Joseph H. Sperbeck, David B. Sperbeck, George S. Sperbeck, James W. Sperbeck, William E. Sperbeck, Dana and Shaun Sperbeck (twins) and Paul G. Sperbeck; Parents Clarence M. Sperbeck and Rosemary G. Kieffer.
Services in Texas were held on March 4, 2025 in Killeen.
Charles will be laid to rest in Norton Cemetery in Keene, NY on May 2nd, 2025. There will be a service held in the chapel at Heidrick Funeral Home at 7521 Court St., Elizabethtown, visitation will begin at 12:00 PM with the Chapel service starting at 1:00 PM followed by interment at Norton Cemetery in Keene, NY.
His legacy of faith and perseverance will continue to live on through those who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace.
