Carl D. Bancroft Jr.

Carl D. Bancroft, Jr., 56, of Ganong Drive in Saranac, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday September 2, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born on August 30, 1958 in Glens Falls to Carl D. and Mary (Hall) Bancroft.
For nearly forty years Carl was an outstanding Tree Climber. He also worked as a Lineman for several Cable TV and telephone construction companies. Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and friends. He loved the Sci-Fi Channel and the New York Jets. Carl loved spending time with the collective of fifteen grandchildren.
Carl is survived by his companion of twenty five years, Cindy Bapp and her two children; Scotty and three grandchildren by her estranged daughter, five brothers; David, Earl, Scott, Eddie, and Brian, one sister Dee Dee, his wife Diane and their three children; Carl III, Crystal and Colleen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The memorial to celebrate Carl’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday September 6, 2014 at the VFW Post #125 on Boynton Ave., in Plattsburgh.
