Barbara Lyman, 82, of Sand Road in Morrisonville passed away Monday December 5, 2016 at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vt., with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on December 23, 1933 daughter of the late John and Rose (Laundry) Reyell.
Barbara was an avid New York Yankee fan. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much joy.
Barbara is survived by a daughter Vicki Lyman of Morrisonville, a son Ricky A. Lyman, Sr., of Morrisonville, a brother Leonard Reyell and his wife Pauline of Morrisonville, three grandchildren, Benjamin, Kenneth and Jeffrey, seven great granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Lyman, Jr., a grandson Ricky Lyman, Jr. and a brother Donald Reyell.
Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday December 8, 2016 at Heald Funeral Home, 48 Court Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday December 9, 2016 at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. Burial will follow in St. Alexander’s Cemetery.
