Arthur V. "Art" Carter

Arthur V. “Art” Carter, 83, of Plattsburgh passed away Thursday July 6, 2023 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 30, 1940 son of the late Arthur H. and Marjorie (DuBray) Carter.
Art owned and operated the Art Carter Trucking and Logging Company for many years. He loved to play music and spend time with his family.
Art is survived by two sons; Mark Carter and his wife Brenda, Jeff Carter and his wife Becky, siblings; Roland Carter and his wife Donna, Ken Carter and his wife Stacey, Kathy Root, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his companion of many years, Linda McCasland, and a brother Harold Carter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated11:00 AM Monday July 10, 2023 at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh.
